The Czech National Bank sells newly issued commemorative silver coins, gold coins, commemorative banknotes and other collectibles. The Czech National Bank does not sell sets of circulating coins.

Newly issued coins are usually issued in two qualities, regular quality, which is characterized by an evenly shiny surface on both sides of the coin, and proven quality, which has a shiny base field and a matte relief on both sides of the coin. Commemorative silver coins are currently issued in denominations of 200 CZK and 500 CZK and are minted from an alloy containing 925 parts silver and 75 parts copper. In 2021, an extraordinary silver coin with a nominal value of CZK 10,000 was also issued from silver with a purity of 999. Commemorative bimetallic coins are issued occasionally (most recently in 2019). Gold coins are issued in nominal values ​​of CZK 5,000 and CZK 10,000 and are minted from gold with a purity of 999.9. In 2023 and 2025, new commercial coins will be issued - Czech ducats, which will be minted from gold with a purity of 986.1.

The Czech National Bank guarantees that the total number of newly issued coins will not exceed the mintage limit, which in total for regular and top quality is 30,000 pieces for commemorative silver coins and 15,000 pieces for gold coins and commercial coins. For an extraordinary silver coin weighing 1 kg  The unsurpassable mintage limit is set at 10,000 pieces in the sum of the matte and polished variants. For commemorative banknotes, the emission limit will not exceed 20,000 pieces.

The Czech National Bank sells newly issued coins, banknotes and other collector's material exclusively to contractual partners for the sale of collector's material. For newly issued coins and banknotes, the Czech National Bank reserves the right to individual sales on the occasion of the ceremonial release of newly issued coins and banknotes into circulation and to sales on the basis of one-off contracts and orders to persons with a special relationship to the topic, persons involved in the preparation of coins and banknotes, for archiving purposes, for museum needs and to foreign partners within the framework of international numismatic projects.
